Jobsite Tour of Tempe Micro Suites on April 15, 2021

Thanks so much to David Crummey for conducting the tour.  We were interested in all facets of this project from finance, permits and regulations, construction, and even got a future homeowners perspective.  To see the updated progress of the project visit https://newtowncdc.org/homes-for-sale/TME-construction-progress.html

NAWIC Greater Phoenix 2020 Christmas at the Desert Botanical Gardens:

NAWIC Greater Phoenix Chapter #98 ladies mixed and mingled at OHSO Brewery on Saturday, December 14, 2019 for Brunch.

December 2019: We jingled all the way through great food, great drinks, great laughter and friendship.

The ladies generously provided unwrapped gifts

for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Holiday Toy Drive.

Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

For November 2019, NAWIC Greater Phoenix Chapter #98 members & their member companies have been collecting food donations for Kitchen on The Street, a  faith based community partner purposing to eliminate local hunger by offering food assistance programs.

The mission: Turning hunger into hope…one child at a time.

On Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2019 we delivered two packed stake bed trucks to their donation center:

We were met by Lisa Scarpinato, a CEO and co-founder of Kitchen on the Street. She exclaimed that our donation was the largest they’d ever received! What a joyous thing!

A Huge thank you to the individual Nawic #98 Chapter members and these companies that participated with generous donations:

In the New Year we hope to further assist Kitchen on the Street by volunteering to help pack food with Bags of Hope.  The backpacks include individually portioned, shelf-stable meals and snacks for in-home weekend consumption.  These Bags of Hope are distributed at school on Friday afternoon so children receive food and nutrition outside of School.
