Molly’s team delivers effective risk management solutions tailored to the unique needs of our customers. \nKena Jackson is a Senior Risk Control Consultant at Travelers\, based in Phoenix\, AZ. With over 28 years of experience in the construction industry\, Kena’s career includes 20 years of service as a Seabee in the United States Navy\, where she was instrumental in building and maintaining structures across various countries worldwide. She also spent 5 years as a Safety Manager and Quality Control professional for a major general contractor in the Phoenix area. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge that could make a difference in your community. \nAs an experienced Emergency Management Specialist with Terros Health\, Dave Schad has developed and implemented multi-facility safety programs\, including disaster recovery and business continuity to ensure preparedness at every level. Dave has also spearheaded Terros Health’s renowned NARCAN training and opioid education program impacting lives across the globe. He has delivered nearly 20\,000 Narcan trainings across 25 states and 5 countries\, distributing over 20\,000 doses of the life-saving medication. Dave’s dedication to opioid overdose prevention is deeply personal\, having been motivated by the loss of a close friend to Fentanyl during their time as a fire fighter/EMT. In addition to his work in emergency management\, Dave serves on the board of the Arizona Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired\, further reflecting his commitment to community advocacy\, education\, resiliency\, and safety.

DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Kovach and Icon Builders\, join the team in making a difference.  \nBuild beds for children in need through Sleep In Heavenly Peace\, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to ending child bedlessness. \n  \nIf you are interested in volunteering\, please note the following information → \n\nComplete the interest form as an exact headcount is required: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/ASynEjPLhM\nVolunteer Check In is between 7:00 and 7:30 AM.  Once people arrive\, we’ll put them to work\, then take a break when everyone has arrived for a Welcome Talk.  We work until about 11:30.   Note – we are under roof\, have evaporative coolers and fans.\nOnline waivers must be completed prior to arrival: https://volunteer.shpbeds.org/opportunities/wP0i2qvBrr\nPlease wear Close-Toed Shoes and work clothes\, Volunteer’s don’t need to bring anything – all tools\, gloves\, goggles\, and masks are provided.\nWater / Gatorade / soda / fruit / granola type snacks are also provided.\n12 is the minimum age.  If younger children come\, we can set up a kid-friendly area outside\, an adult must stay with them.\nParking is available on the North side of the building.  Once you enter the gates of the complex\, turn left (towards the flag) and park.  Then walk to the back of the property\, past the loading dock.  Turn right at the end of the loading dock.  You will see our signs on the South side of the building.  (There will also be a couple golf carts to take people to the South side of the building.)  Parking is prohibited along the east fence\, by the loading dock\, because this area is active with large trucks moving in and out. Carpooling is suggested\, if possible\, due to parking.
