Mr Bonilla will be giving a presentation titled\, “The Future of Safety Management”\, which provides a data driven review of the history of safety and how past and present paradigms may shape the future of construction safety. He will cover thought provoking concepts including the causality of safety incidents (Are safety incidents bound to happen?) while challenging conventional methods of measuring safe performance (relying on lagging indicators vs leading indicators). \nThis presentation aims to provide a fresh perspective on the current state of safety by examining the past and present shortcomings of the construction industry\, while also providing insight on potential solutions for effective safety management processes and practices.
