United Rentals hosted a Bowling & Networking event for the Greater Phoenix NAWIC Chapter #98 at the Let It Roll Bowl in Phoenix on June 5, 2011. Great turn out and lots of fun for the 50+ women in construction bowlers. As you can see from the pictures, everyone had a great time. Thanks to the United Rental Team for all the prizes and coordinating this successful event!
First Annual NAWIC Nine & Wine with "Golf for Cause" Spring has sprung and in Arizona that means get out and golf! This Golf for a Cause event has held March 6, 2011 at the Continental Golf Course in Scottsdale. True golf beginners swung and hit the ball for their first time, while the hackers and weekend warriors attempted to improve their skills. NAWIC encourages women to learn the rules and how to play the game as we all know..."Business gets done on the course". Thank you to all the pros for the lessons.
The 2010 Arizona Construction Career Days was a great success with hundreds of students from across the state participating. School Districts bused in students to expose them to the opportunities and career choices the constuctio industry offers. Many students operated equipment and tools to get a feel for the vocations. Thank you to all the companies that took the time with their equipment and personnel to make this event possible.
The 2009 Red Rose Reception was held in August. A great time was had by all. Here are a few photos of the crowd, vendors & food. If you missed it, plan on attending next year. You are sure to expand your network!
